Patients with Marfan syndrome may need extensive repair but the repair can be done at very low operative risk. Repair should use adjuncts to lessen the risk of paraplegia and other ischemic complications, CSF drainage, left heart bypass, profusion of the visceral arteries, cold crystalloid to the kidneys.
