Thank you so much. I do have questions for each of you but I want to kind of take this question to our two doctors.

You know, first Alan, I mean as an adult cardiologist, maybe you've seen people, you know, for a long time or maybe they're just diagnosed as adults and already have like an active lifestyle or a really interdependent sport, so how do you, I mean, how do you counsel, how do you counsel patients besides all the data that you gave us earlier tonight like what do you say to them, what's that conversation like?

Well, first I loved hearing the stories that Morgan and Alan and Samantha said. They're they mirror everything that we hear every day.
そうですね。まずパネリストのモーガンさん、アランさん、サマンサさんのお話を伺うことができて非常にうれしく思います。我々が日々患者さんから聞くお話と非常によく似た内容でした。
And my oldest, my oldest brother who has Marfan syndrome was, was diagnosed, you know, after he finished his competitive sports and athletics. Through high school where he was a bodybuilder and weightlifter and all-state basketball player and he used to throw the shot-put. He would do what Alan would do, lifting three or 400 pounds.
私事ですが、私の一番上の兄はMarfan症候群です。診断されたのは、スポーツ選手の現役を退いた後でした。非常に激しいスポーツをしており、高校ではボディビルやウェイトリフティング、バスケットボールでは州代表にもなり、さらに、砲丸投げもやっていました。アランさんのように300～400ポンドのバーベルを担いだりもしていました。
And thankfully when he was diagnosed his aorta hadn't dissected. It was seven centimeters. I still shatter to think about that and how lucky he was now.

And for him when he stopped, when he was told he had to stop, kind of cold turkey just like Alan was it was devastating for him. He enjoyed that the, the high of, you know, competing at the highest level so much just like Morgan's son does at 10 years old because how would you not, I mean, it's just such a great endorphin rush so I think it's really a challenge to, to take away something that's, that you really love.
