So there is an increased risk for aortic dissection in pregnancy, which is the result of both hemodynamic, hormonal but also from thromboembolic changes and actually pregnancy itself is a challenge for everyone's body and it causes significant increase in the hemodynamic demands as it specialized in the right and as you can see these adaptations they start early during pregnancy, then remain fairly stable during the second and third trimester to peak during delivery.
