So somebody with even with, so without the aortic aneurysm and they're just being followed. Should two or three different types of imaging be done, if not, which type gives the clearest picture of aneurysms in the ascending aorta before the arch?

I would do, if I think the best techniques are CT and MR when, if you're looking for an aneurysm an accurate, reproducible measurement depending on your threshold for radiation and whether radiation technology can be used or contrast is to be used. The follow-up imaging is always using MRA or CTA because echo can be used if echo is negative and you have one CT or MR that's negative the follow-up imaging could be echo but if they have any changes that are worrisome I would almost, always follow with them CT or MR, MRA.
