Posterior crossbite refers to a relationship of the upper and lower jaw whereby the upper jaw, because it's too narrow, it doesn't relate in the position that it should, which is on the out the teeth on the top, should be outside the teeth on the bottom, so instead, they're inside because it's too narrow, which is why it's called crossbite. It's like they're crisscrossed to where they should be and posterior cross by it is something that, like I said, is secondary to having too narrow of a jaw of an upper jaw.
