What are the options for valve replacement?
If the valve needs to be replaced, which most of the time we don't need to do, then there are a couple of different options here.

There are mechanical valves. These valves that are made of metal. They just have two little flaps that open and close as the blood passes through it, and these are good because they last a long time, they can last a lifetime.
