On this slide I've listed the factors that are associated with respiratory insufficiency or respiratory failure or breathing problems that are associated specifically with scoliosis and these include an early age of onset, the association of sleep related abnormalities or sleep apnea, the association of inspiratory muscle weakness, which we discussed, an underlying etiology that is syndromic disorders such as Marfan syndrome, and a curvature as reflected in the cobb angle being very, very significant.
