Thank you for joining and I would like to thank the Marfan Foundation for giving me an opportunity to present on cardiovascular imaging, especially vascular imaging, which is very important in patients with Marfan's and vascular disease, so with that I just want to get into the main presentation here.

Basically, the goals of the presentation are to kind of give you aortic anatomy, basic aortic anatomy, what are the available techniques for imaging aorta, images of aorta by different techniques and measurements how it's done on different techniques and what are the current recommendations for aortic, aorta imaging and, you know, I won't get dwell into the aortic surgery. Obviously it's not my specialty but what you've seen on imaging that leads to surgery. I'll show you and I'll end by two case examples. One is somebody who is young who's for serial follow-up and somebody, the other case is, somebody who has a disease process.
