Yeah, the number one thing you can do is keep your blood pressure in a good control. You know, what dilates the aorta, puts tension on the wall is your blood pressure. Keep your blood pressure down, your heart rate down, beta blockers that sort of thing.

The other thing is, is in our lab, Dr. LeMaire has identified, fluoroquinolone, the most common of which being Cipro. Cipro being known as an antibiotic that's used primarily for urinary tract infections and other things. It's best known for Achilles tendon rupture but it's very likely that patients who have connective tissue disorder that some of them that if they take a fluoroquinolone, cipro being again the most common, that it's probably not a good idea. If there's an alternative antibiotic to treat the specific situation that would be the preferable choice.
