Good evening everyone. So there is a section in the statement outlining how to do a genetic evaluation and when to do genetic testing. In this figure from the table, from the paper, excuse me, we give the indications for when to do genetic testing.

At the top of the table in the red, you can see the indications for testing, and on the bottom, you can see what we would do after testing. So in the bottom left in the blue section, if we do find a genetic diagnosis by gene, then we can screen other family members using genetic testing. If we don't find a genetic cause, then we would screen with imaging for relatives that might be at risk for the aortopathy.
上の赤い四角には、遺伝子検査の適応となる所見が記載されており、下の部分には、検査後の対応が書かれています。左下の青の部分は、遺伝性疾患が判明した場合、血縁者の検査をしてもよいことを示します。遺伝学上の原因が見つからなかった場合には、画像検査によって、大動脈疾患のリスクが高いと考えられる血縁者を調べることになります。
Next slide. And here, in more detail, the indications for genetic testing. And we divided these for patients who have bicuspid aortic valve - this is a two leaflet instead of three leaflet aortic valve - versus those without. And then there are some conditions where we feel very strongly that genetic testing should be done. And at the bottom right corner, we see some situations in BAV where genetic testing should be considered.
