So the choice also depends on what portion of the aorta you're imaging. You want to know the root you always can measure is using the transthoracic echo but the reproducibility will be less of those findings but if you want to image whole of the aorta you probably want to image majority using an CT or MRA.
よって、検査法の選択にあたっては、検査対象となる大動脈の部位がどこかによって変わってきます。基部を調べる場合は、必ず経胸部心エコー検査を用いますが、他の画像検査法と比較すると、再現性が低くなります。大動脈全体を撮影したい場合には、ほとんどの場合、CTやMRAを使うことになります。
