Does CT provide additional information regarding mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation if an echocardiogram has already been done?

So the CT that's done for the thoracic aorta is a static image so it's one phase of the heart that's acquired so it may not, it will not show mitral valve prolapse. Echo is the better test for showing mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation. Always with CT you can acquire that image to show but it will it involves a lot more radiation but I don't think it's the right thing to do.
